Privacy policy

This policy covers the WhatsApp services of Safana Studio, operated by FAIRUZZABADI (NIB 2809260053657). The first sections apply to all our services. The sections after them describe each service.

Services we use

  • WhatsApp (Meta) delivers messages between you and our services.
  • Google Gemini, an AI service, reads message text and photos to find amounts, dates, items and categories.
  • Google Sheets stores your records in a sheet in your own Google Drive. Our Google account has access to that sheet so it can add entries and answer your requests.

What we keep

  • To know which sheet each message belongs to, we keep a list of registered numbers, names and sheet links in our own Google Sheet.
  • If an unregistered number messages us, we save the number and the first 40 characters of the message so we can follow up.
  • Messages from unregistered numbers are never added to a customer's sheet.
  • We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
  • This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.

Safana Expense

Safana Expense is our expense-tracking service for households. In the chat, its bot calls itself safana unless the household renames it.

  • What it collects: your WhatsApp number, the name your household admin lists for you, the messages and receipt photos you send, and the entries created from them (date, amount, category, note and who sent it).
  • How it is used: to record your entries, reply with confirmations, reports and search results, and show shared entries to your household.
  • Where it is stored: entries and the member list are stored in your household's Google Sheet. Receipt photos are read and then discarded; only the entries taken from them are saved.
  • Your choices: view, edit or delete any entry in the sheet at any time, or send "delete #" with an entry number. The admin can remove a member from the list. The household can end the service by removing our access to the sheet, or by deleting it.

How long we keep it

  • Your records stay in your own sheet for as long as you keep them there.
  • Your number, name and sheet link stay on our customer list while you use a service. We delete them within 30 days after the service ends, or sooner if you ask.
  • We delete what we saved from an unregistered number after 90 days.

Children

Our services are for adults keeping household or shop records. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Removing your information

You can delete your records in your own sheet at any time. To have your number and sheet link removed from our customer list, contact us and we will delete them.
